Over 200 Annapolis Area Christian School Children Volunteer at Bello Machre
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND: Over 200 Annapolis Area Christian School children, parents, and teachers volunteered their time Thursday, April 29, 2010 as part of their annual spring yard clean-up for Bello Machre. 18 groups of middle school children spent the day raking leaves and mulching flowerbeds at 18 different Bello Machre homes located throughout Anne Arundel County. The Annapolis Areas Christian School continues to be the largest volunteer group in the history of Bello Machre.
In addition, the group raised $300 to support the individuals Bello Machre serves through its volunteer efforts cleaning up yards at homes in the community. “We are very excited the spring yard clean up has become an annual tradition at Bello Machre. We are lucky to have such a great group of young adults give back in such a big way,” Dr. Robert Ireland, Bello Machre’s President and Chief Executive Officer, commented.
