At Every Step Counts 2018, Team Sean raised thousands of dollars for Every Step Counts. They were not only honored as Extraordinary Heart Heroes, but their efforts also made a direct impact on Sean and his home.

Did you know that you can help your loved one or friend by fundraising for Every Step Counts 2019? Every Step Counts is Bello Machre’s largest annual fundraiser; our 28th annual event will take place on June 8th at Anne Arundel Community College. Our family-friendly Walk/Bike/5k event is not only a fun celebration for everyone, but it also helps Bello Machre continue to provide a lifetime of loving care the people we support and their families.

Our Every Step Counts half-back program offers YOU a unique opportunity. When you make a pledge, register with a team, or fundraise on behalf of your loved one, 50% of the money goes to Bello Machre’s general programs and services (so we can continue to honor our commitment to providing a lifetime of loving care for people with developmental disabilities). The other 50% goes directly back to your loved one . . . helping pay for their needs and dreams!

The money raised by the half-back program can be designated to support anyone in any of our programs and services. Teams have used our half-back program to help pay for items and services they need or to help them achieve a goal or dream.

This year, one of our teams is raising money so they can have additional respite care hours in case of a family emergency. One of our homes is raising money so they can buy some outdoor furniture and enjoy the summer warmth together. A young man supported by our Meaningful Day Program is raising money to buy a vending machine and start his own business!

How many other fundraisers allow you to choose exactly where you want half of the funds to go? You can seize this opportunity to make a direct impact in the life of a loved one. Make a pledge or become a fundraiser today!
