Bello Machre Raises Over $200,000 at Every Step Counts 2025 to Support People with Developmental Disabilities

Anne Arundel County, MD – June 14, 2025 – Bello Machre, a Maryland-based nonprofit that provides a lifetime of loving care for people with developmental disabilities, hosted its 34th annual Every Step Counts fundraiser on Saturday, June 14th. This year’s event was a resounding success, raising over $200,000 in support of the individuals and families served by Bello Machre.
Held simultaneously at Anne Arundel Community College and Dutterer Family park, the event welcomed hundreds of attendees, including families, community members, and partners from across the region. Special guests in attendance included Councilwoman Lisa Rodvien, Councilwoman Allison Pickard, and County Commissioner Kenneth Kiler who came out to show their support and celebrate the organization’s mission.

The fun-filled morning featured walking, biking, face painting, music, games, and dancing—all in support of Bello Machre’s mission to enrich the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through loving care, meaningful opportunities, and lifelong partnerships.
