Steps To Donate Your Vehicle to Charity

Fill out the online donation form or call 855-500-RIDE (7433).

You will be contacted within 24-48 hours to arrange a free vehicle pick-up.

Vehicle Donations FAQs

Your vehicle donation will help enrich the lives of the developmentally disabled people that Bello Machre serves. Your tax-deductible donation will help:

  • Stock the cupboards with food in our newest homes
  • Purchase a new kitchen table and chairs
  • Install a new barrier-free lift system
  • Finance a new fully wheelchair-accessible home
  • Purchase a new lift van to take our folks to work and community outings

We accept more than just cars! CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services) accepts most types of cars, trucks, motorcycles, vans, commercial vehicles, jet skis, snowmobiles, motor homes, buses, and even boats. Donated vehicles do not need to be in running condition.

No. Our partner will provide free towing services when the scheduled vehicle pick-up occurs. Once the vehicle is picked up, it is no longer your responsibility.

Yes, our boat donation program is only equipped to pick up boats on trailers. Not all boats have enough value to warrant us to accept the donation. Within one business day of receiving your donation, our boat charity program will contact you to let you know if they can accept your donation. Occasionally they may ask you to deliver it to their facility.

You will be contacted within 24-48 hours to set up a pick up time for your vehicle.

Yes. After your vehicle has been sold at auction, Bello Machre will send you a tax deductible receipt stating how much your vehicle sold for. It will take about six weeks.

Bello Machre receives 20% of the first $100 value, plus 80% of the remaining value. For example, if the total car value is $1,000, 20% of the first $100.00 is $20.00, plus 80% of $900.00 is $720.00 = total donation of $740.00

Yes. If you do not have the title, please contact our donation program at 1-855-500-RIDE (7433). They will determine if they can accept your vehicle without a title. Some no-title vehicles are acceptable.
