Bello Machre Announces Major Sponsors For Fundraising Event – Every Step Counts 2010
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND: Bello Machre proudly announces its major annual fundraising event Every Step Counts 2010 benefiting children and adults with developmental disabilities. Dr. Robert Ireland, Executive Director of Bello Machre, stated, “We sincerely appreciate the support from our many friends who time-after-time step up to support a great cause and great event.”
Bello Machre is pleased to announce the Premier Sponsors, Absolute Fire Protection of Severna Park, Maryland, and Dimensional Health Care Associates of Owings Mills, Maryland. In addition to each company contributing $5,000 as the event sponsors, these Maryland businesses support Bello Machre and its mission by raising pledges and participating in Every Step Counts.
Absolute Fire Protection, entering its 21st year of business, is a fire sprinkler contractor serving the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area. Located in Severna Park, Maryland, Absolute Fire contracts for residential, industrial, and commercial sprinkler services. With a highly trained staff and licensed professional engineers, Absolute Fire provides services including new construction design and installation, inspections, fabrication and retrofitting systems, and 24-hour maintenance services.
Dimensional Health Care Associates provides nurse case management and delegated nursing services to individuals with developmental disabilities. In addition, Dimensional offers on-going and mandatory (CMT, OSHA, CPR etc.) training for direct care staff as well as skills necessary to care for individuals.
The Benefactor Sponsors, contributing $2,500 each, include Northern Pharmacy & Medical Equipment and Comprehensive Developmental Services. Northern Pharmacy & Medical Equipment is a medical supply and equipment company located in Baltimore, Maryland; and Comprehensive Developmental Services provides psychological consulting services and is located in Reisterstown, Maryland. As the Goodwill Sponsor, the Big Vanilla Athletic Club will provide its 25-foot rock-climbing wall for the event.
Every Step Counts, scheduled for Saturday, June 5, 2010, is fun for the whole family with the 25-foot Big Vanilla Climbing Wall, a clown, face painting, music, and complimentary food and beverages. The event also promotes education and awareness about people with developmental disabilities who live and work within the community. Every Step Counts will assemble hundreds of hikers, bikers, and bladers on the scenic B&A Trail in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, with a goal to raise over $150,000. Ireland commented, “We want Every Step Counts to be a truly big event – a big event in the hearts and homes of people who depend upon Bello Machre”.
Each hiker, blader, and biker will get people to sponsor their Every Step. Participants raise money by having friends, family, and business associates sponsor them to walk a 2.5-mile route, roller-blade a 5-mile route, or bike a 10-mile route.
