This September, we’re extending our celebration of DSPs throughout the entire month! Instead of focusing on just one week, we’re dedicating all of September to honoring our amazing Direct Support Professionals.
This September, we’re extending our celebration of DSPs throughout the entire month! Instead of focusing on just one week, we’re dedicating all of September to honoring our amazing Direct Support Professionals.
Our theme for the month is “The Heart of Support: Celebrating DSPs.” We’ll be sharing stories, videos, and more to highlight the incredible work of our DSPs. Stay tuned and join the Bello Machre family in these celebrations!

I would like to give a shout out to Jasmine Scharshell! She has been with Bello Machre less than a year but has quickly become a staple at our Westview home. All the ladies love her, but especially her 1:1 Lisa. Jasmine is caring, a tremendous advocate, passionate about her work, and jumps in to pick up extra shifts or cover holes. She helps to ensure all the ladies are living their best lives, getting out in their community, bonding at home and ALWAYS laughing and having a great time with whatever they are doing. We are so happy to have Jasmine!
I would also like to give a shout out to Jennifer Jolles! She has been with Bello Machre for 8 years now as our FLD at Crest Lane. Jen is amazing at not only keeping her own home and folks running smoothly and being well taken care of, but she also helps the other Carroll County homes. Jen is organized and is always willing to jump in and help out whenever I call on her!
Christine Rogall has dedicated 5 years of her life providing quality service to the individuals entrusted to our care.
During this period, she has formed strong bonds and trusting relationships not only with the individuals on her caseload, but with the families of the individuals. Chrissie, as she likes to be called, recently received a round-trip plane ticket from a trusting parent to come to Austin, Texas to escort their loving daughter who will be vacationing with the family, back to Maryland. Dedication is giving up a precious weekend after working 40 hours to fulfill a need and to provide service to an individual and their family. Chrissie will be doing a 7-hour trip, to and from Texas on the same day.
Chrissie prefers not to be in the limelight but this month I want to spotlight her. Thank you, Chrissie, for your dedicated service.
