Loving Care and Support for Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
We Serve All Ages of People with Autism
Bello Machre Serves individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) across all age groups.
Bello Machre offers children, adults, and seniors with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) access to the people, programs, and services required for a lifetime of loving care. Our person-first model focuses on the individual and their desired outcomes – not the diagnosis. We understand that ASD encompasses a broad spectrum, and we are innovative and progressive in our approach. Bello Machre delivers customized support and services based on the unique needs and desires of each person we serve.
Full Range of Services to Support Individuals with Autism
Personal Supports
Personal Supports are one-on-one services that help individuals with ASD develop independent living skills. Those might include meal planning, laundry, scheduling, going to a swimming pool, park or museum, and enhancing social skills. Respite Care is an add-on to our Personal Support Services, offering caregivers a short-term break.
Meaningful Day
Meaningful Day Services, our team delivers community-based programs that help your loved one age 21 and older with autism meet their personal and professional goals. Individuals are integral to choosing which social, recreational, educational, and/or employment opportunities they want to pursue.
Group Homes for People with Autism
Residential Group Homes ensure adults with autism and other developmental disabilities have a secure place to feel safe and loved. At Bello Machre-owned homes, live-in caregivers support small community living with three to four people in the home. Each person has the opportunity to grow, develop, and live life to the fullest.
Spotlight on Community-Based Meaningful Day Services
Individuals who take part in our community-based day services are integral to deciding how they spend their days. People with ASD, and other developmental disabilities, are paired with two to three peers based on shared interests and activity levels. If your loved one requires one-on-one support, a Direct Support Professional (DSP) can accompany them throughout their day. Monthly activities might include fitness and yoga, movies, bowling, social club, arts and crafts, volunteer opportunities, animal therapy, a bookstore visit, a trip to Moonlit Acres Retreat Farm, or a water park visit. And, we offer shadow days so your loved one can spend time with their prospective group and see if it is a fit.
“Finding employment was just the first piece that Bello Machre supported. Ongoing job coaches stop in periodically to check on Jared and get feedback. His employment specialist facilitates Jared’s discussions with work regarding scheduled time off, concerns, annual performance reviews, scheduling questions, and more.”
-Michelle Parrish, mother of Jared Parrish, who has autism and receives Employment Services through Bello Machre’s Meaningful Day Services.
Employment Services for Your Loved One with ASD
Bello Machre helps adults with autism find meaningful careers. We provide job coaching, mentorship, job development, on-site training and support, and employment opportunities. For individuals who want to work but don’t want to do so in a traditional setting – or who want to get their feet wet before diving in – we offer microbusiness programs designed to help them explore their career interests and make them their own.
Bello Machre’s Commitment to Compassionate Care and Support
We understand that you want your loved one with autism to have the services and support to enjoy a full, independent, and rich life. Through programs such as Ray of Hope, Bello Machre helps individuals with autism bridge gaps in care plan funding for anything from summer camp and therapy to medications and adaptive equipment.
