Autism Group Home & Services in Maryland
Loving Care and Support for Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
We Serve All Ages of People with Autism
Bello Machre Serves individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) across all age groups.
Bello Machre offers children, adults, and seniors with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) access to the people, programs, and services required for a lifetime of loving care. Our person-first model focuses on the individual and their desired outcomes – not the diagnosis. We understand that ASD encompasses a broad spectrum, and we are innovative and progressive in our approach. Bello Machre delivers customized support, services and residential programs based on the unique needs and desires of each person we serve.
Group Homes for People with Autism
Bello Machre’s Residential Services create safe, welcoming group homes for adults with autism and other intellectual disabilities, ages 21 and older. Residents live in small households of three to four people, enjoying a sense of community while receiving live-in caregiver support. Our internal Nursing Department provides added support to ensure consistent, person-centered care.
Every home emphasizes independence, fun, and meaningful engagement. Residents share meals, pursue hobbies, and participate in community activities, while caregivers provide guidance and encouragement. Families can trust that their loved ones are thriving in a home built on community, connection, and personal growth.
Community Development Services
Our community-based day programs offer adults with autism and other disabilities the opportunity to grow, socialize, and explore the community in safe, structured group activities. Each day includes recreational, educational, and social activities tailored to participants’ strengths and interests.
With a 1:4 staff-to-individual ratio and transportation provided, CDS fosters independence while building confidence, friendships, and life skills. More than just a day program, CDS helps participants connect with their community and take meaningful steps toward greater autonomy.
Employment Services for Your Loved One with Autism
Our Employment Services guide adults with ASD and other developmental disabilities in finding fulfilling jobs that match their interests. Through personalized coaching, hands-on training, and ongoing support, participants develop skills and confidence to succeed in the workforce.
Transportation support is provided through local transit options, and staff teaches strategies for independent travel. From first interviews to long-term careers, our team supports every step of the journey, helping individuals build pride, purpose, and independence.
“Finding employment was just the first piece that Bello Machre supported. Ongoing job coaches stop in periodically to check on Jared and get feedback. His employment specialist facilitates Jared’s discussions with work regarding scheduled time off, concerns, annual performance reviews, scheduling questions, and more.”
-Michelle Parrish, mother of Jared Parrish, who has autism and receives Employment Services through Bello Machre’s Meaningful Day Services.
Bello Machre’s Dedication to Personalized Support and Care for Individuals with ASD
Bello Machre believes all people deserve the services and support to enjoy a full, independent, and enriched life. Through programs like Ray of Hope, Bello Machre helps individuals with autism and other developmental and intellectual disabilities bridge gaps in their care plan funding, including resources for therapies, medications, adaptive equipment, and other essential services.
In addition, our newly established Nursing Department strengthens our commitment by providing on-site clinical expertise and personalized health monitoring, ensuring individuals receive comprehensive, coordinated care every step of the way.
Our team also offers resources and support to guide families in caring for individuals with autism, promoting their health and overall well-being.
