Bello Machre Dedicates Phillips Charitable Foundation Home Maintenance Fund to Sustain Community Homes for Generations

Anne Arundel County, MD – July 18, 2025 – Bello Machre is proud to recognize the Phillips Charitable Foundation for their remarkable generosity and enduring partnership, marked by the dedication of the newly established Phillips Charitable Foundation Home Maintenance Fund. The $250,000 grant will ensure long-term upkeep and sustainability of Bello Machre’s community homes across Maryland.

This extraordinary grant addresses one of our most underfunded needs—ongoing maintenance of our community homes. Through this partnership, the Phillips Foundation has made a significant investment into our Legacy Fund, ensuring the long-term sustainability of our homes for the next 100 years.”

The grant was commemorated at a special Maintenance Fund Recognition & Dedication Ceremony held July 16, celebrating a shared commitment to safe, accessible, and welcoming homes for people with developmental disabilities. The fund supports Bello Machre’s lifetime commitment of loving care and opportunities, ensuring that its community homes remain well-maintained for current and future residents.

Since their first gift in 2018, the Phillips Charitable Foundation has contributed a total of $436,500 to Bello Machre. Their inaugural donation, a $25,000 grant, funded Bello Machre’s Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program, equipping team members with critical caregiving skills to better support individuals receiving services.
