Dimensional Healthcare Associates Donates $20,000 to Every Step Counts 2022

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND – Bello Machre proudly announces its Every Step Counts Presenting Sponsor: Dimensional Health Care Associates, Inc (DHCA). Headed by Kelly Dempsey, RN/Owner, DHCA will generously donate $20,000 to benefit Bello Machre and the children and adults with developmental disabilities in Maryland. Every Step Counts will be held Saturday, June 11, 2022, at two great locations: Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Maryland, and Manchester Valley High School in Manchester, Maryland.

Registration is open for Bello Machre’s 31st Annual Every Step Counts Walk, Bike, and 5K Run. Interested parties can register in advance by clicking the Every Step Counts link under Events at bellomachre.org. Day-of registration begins at 7:00 AM, and the event concludes at 12 noon. The 5K Run at AACC is a professionally timed event for each registered 5K participant, whether they walk or run. Awards will be presented to the three fastest times for both men and women in eight age groups. All participants under age 10 will receive a participation medal.
This event is fun for the whole family and will feature a moon bounce, face painting, children’s games and prizes, great food, and music. The event is designed to promote education, awareness, and visibility of people with developmental disabilities who live and work within the community.
“We are so happy Every Step Counts is back in person! This is an important annual tradition for so many people,” says Tracy Lynott, Development Director of Bello Machre. “Whether someone chooses to walk, bike, run, or volunteer, their support changes lives.”
Individuals and teams are encouraged to raise money for Bello Machre or make a pledge to a specific person or a Bello Machre home, with half of the money raised going directly back in the form of services. This is a huge help to families and individuals in the Bello Machre community. Walkers, bikers, and runners are encouraged to set up a personalized pledge page by texting ESC to 71777 to sign up and/or donate. About Dimensional Health Care Associates, Inc.
DHCA is a nurse owned/operated company providing services in Maryland for over 27 years to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and the agencies that serve them. DHCA provides Nurse Case Management, Nurse Delegation, as well as Nurse Consultation services in compliance with state and local regulations. DHCA offers ongoing trainings for direct care staff which include mandatory training (CMT, OSHA, CPR etc.) as well as skills necessary to care for individuals. Nutrition services provided by Registered Dietitians, with over 10 years of experience working with people with disabilities, are also available. About Bello Machre
Bello Machre, founded in 1972, means Home of My Heart in Gaelic. It is a non-profit organization with offices in Anne Arundel and Carroll Counties, MD, that provides a lifetime of loving care, beautiful wheelchair-accessible homes, and community support to people with developmental disabilities.
